Caroline Quarlls had a worrisome childhood. Her date of birth was 1826,she was born in Missouri. Her family was very poor and were also slaves. As Caroline got older she became more and more confident .Later on she tried as hard as she could to make her dream come true .
Caroline dreamed of being free. With bravery and determination, Caroline became the first person to be freed using the Wisconsin Underground Railroad. She was very discouraged and worried about this situation, but she was also very confident about what she was doing. After she got in a fight with her owner, Mrs. Hall she decided she had to be free.
Independence day came by it was a big day on July,4th of 1842.While missouri celebrated,Caroline carried everything she owned, clothes and the jewelry she wore and $100 that she hid in a bush . she told her owner to she was visiting a sick friend and went to a steamboat that was going to Illinois. She blended in with people who were white because her father was a white person so she had light skin
. She took a train to Milwaukee. From there she went to Waukesha, Burlington and Pewaukee and then finally to Canada where she was free and declared her own independence Way later on she ran away from back to slavery to a new life of freedom on her own. As her life shined before her eyes .I know this impacted the whole world if this didn't happen i think we would still have slavery. She had of accomplishments her biggest one was and still is turning slavery into freedom or know as the underground railroad .”Do you know what it feels like to be a slave or to be ordered around by someone and not getting paid ,Caroline Quarlls a teenage slave changed the world just by putting her life changing work into the underground railroad .Caroline was in a unwealthy slave family ,She was also involved with the underground railroad .and had some obstacles along her fearless bold journey
.Passing through the crowds trying not to get noticed ,if she got caught she would be back at freedom to slavery once agian pretending to be a white girl was hard she thought ,once again staying close by ducking over and under .,Caroline was a big help in the underground railroad even know she was in a poor slave family she accomplished many dreams she had Caroline Quarlls made a significant contribution to her dream that later came true and we will never forget her bravery at those impactful events .
